Service to the community
Dalby Rotary projects and donations for 2017-18, totalled $47,000.

The major projects was the puchase of a V-Scan machine (which finds veins), costing $9,500 for the Renal Unit at Dalby Hospital

$5000 was donated to Life Flight and $3,000 to the Rotary foundation. $2,000 was donated to Australian Rotary Health and to Shelterbox for National and International projects.

Each year, the Dalby Rotary Club raises more than $30,000 to fund a variety of local and international projects. Fund raising activities include a 'Breakfast in the Park' on Australia day, a Christmas raffle and a BBQ for the Annual 3 day stockhorse sale.

The club also looks to provide hands-on support to one or more groups each year. A major effort in recent years has been put into the establishment of a Men's Shed in Dalby. This provides a place for men with time on their hands to come together for a friendly chat and to undertake various wood and metal work activities.

Donations have been made to the Dalby State School to help after a fire damaged the main building. A grant of $5,000 from  District 9630 was made to the school in 2017.

A grant of $3,000 has been obtained to help disadvantaged kids in Dalby for a project which provides breakfast at the High school.

Dalby Rotary Club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training and promote peace.
